Disneyworld/Universal Studios 2011!

First time doing Universal Studios! Very cool rides like the Incredible Hulk Roller Coaster. Lots of superhero's walking around the park too.
Carnival winnings - DJ wins this massive dragon with his mad basketball skills. Sorry it can't go back on the plane home with us. Gave it to one of the hotel employees with kids on our way checking out.

Andrew and Austin chillin on the sand.

Grand Floridian Hotel. Big brother's trying to push Austin off the wall. Beautiful place to stay & closest to Magic Kindom's entrance by tram.
Weather was perfect in February- not too hot yet, but warm enough to enjoy the pool!

Dumbo Ride - 45 min wait no matter what time of day-

Grandma Moore & Andrew at the Polynesian hotel. Our second time here for dinner- amazing and a great view of Magic Kingdom's nightly fireworks.

Checking out all the cool shops at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. G-ma and G-pa Moore let Andrew pick out a wand - DJ/Austin loved the magic tricks, especially the burning wallet. Can't leave without trying butter beer too :)

Harry Potter World - we felt like we'd walked into the books and might run into Harry Potter at any moment. This park was definitely one of the highlights of the trip! G-ma and G-pa had already checked it out a few months before and loved it so much they wanted to go back. There wasn't a ride that Grandpa Moore wouldn't try. I didn't have the stomach for Harry Potter's 3-D ride - as amazing as it was - won't do it again!

FIRST DAY of SCHOOL 2010. Kindergarten for Austin!

First day as a 7th Grader at Beaver lake Middle School. One of the highlights you mentioned when you got home from school was that you and your friends now got the back of the bus... big change from last year when 6th graders weren't allowed anywhere near the back!
1st period: PE. 2nd: Science 3rd: Leadership 4th: Algebra 5th/6th: LA/SS

Andrew's first day as a 4th grader. Teacher: Mrs. Wehner who you think is pretty awesome! First year ever that you and your best friend, Will, have been in the same class.

The 3 amigos!

Kindergarten!!
You look so grown up and ready for school here. Which you are... for years you've talked about how you'll one day be a big boy and walk to Cascade Ridge with your brothers and finally the day has come!

Yes... proud parents sending another one off!

Walking to Cascade Ridge Elementary with Andrew and Will

One of my favorite pictures: Andrew holding Austin's hand - leading him to where
he needs to line-up with his class. It's Andrew's 5th year at this school so he'll show his younger brother the ropes!

Here you are! Waiting in line for your first day... you weren't apprehensive at all. Such a big kid - you just waved bye and walked right into class!

Your teacher: Mrs. Elisabeth Carrol

Grandma greeting you after school - You guys celebrated a successful first day by going to Red Robin for lunch! You're in half day a.m. kindergarten which goes from 8:15 to 11:00.

HAPPY 12TH BIRTHDAY DJ!

Could it be......?? A cell phone!!!!! You've been bugging us about having your own cell phone for close to a year now and now that you're 12.... well, here you are!
Loved that Grandma and Grandpa Moore were here visiting this week - celebrating your birthday and got to watch quite a few basketball games too.

A CELL PHONE!!! Unlimited texting.... other parents warned us it's the only way to go.

You're taking a photography class as one of your 6th grade electives... here's some of your shots.

DJ - working the cul-de-sac baskeball hoop

See that hole in the back-board... yes you did that!

Standing next to your buddy, Luke Westmoreland and Garrett Schweitzer

Austin and best buds... Luke and Beck Simpson

Andrew's 3rd grade class Halloween party - Mrs. Trull's class

Andrew- guest reader in Austin's preschool class.

Austin as a Star Wars Clone Trooper this Halloween.. you did a great job keeping up with your bigger brother's and lasted much longer trick-or-treating than we thought you would!

YOUR REWARD FOR ALL THAT HARD WORK!

GO SPARTANS!

DJ's 3rd season of football- 6th grade (sophomore 2009). Matt Lambert has been your coach 3 years running and such a great coach! Dad's an assistant coach 2 years running now and loves watching you play (almost as much as mom!) Position: Middle linebacker and tight-end.
Andrew scoping out the other team next to Coach Corbijn. It's your 1st year of football (3rd grade (rookie 2009). We loved watching you play this first year too - you've caught the football bug just like your brother and can't wait for next season already. Position: Quarterback

Mike Grady and DJ post-game at Issaquah High School which is being completely re-modeled.

Night before game-day ritual... of laying out the gear. The socks especially crack me up.

Future Spartan here... Austin found Andrew's old pads and DJ's old jersey. Insisted on wearing the gear to the first couple games, then realized it was a lot harder to play and walk around with this stuff on!
